Airbnb is offering a unique property to celebrate Halloween: the house located in the iconic swamp of the character Shrek.
Inspired by the DreamWorks animation, the residence announced on Airbnb, located in the Scottish Highlands, is described as a “secluded retreat, perfect for an ogre in search of solitude.”
The announcement is made in the voice of the character Donkey, who takes care of the property while Shrek is absent this Halloween.

During their stay, guests can enjoy activities suggested by Donkey, such as relaxing by candlelight, sharing stories around a campfire, and savoring a delicious parfait, a French dessert.
The swamp, situated deep in the forests of the Scottish Highlands and equipped with the cozy comforts that Shrek has accumulated over the years, offers a unique experience. This murky water oasis, covered in moss, provides a welcoming refuge to escape the hustle and bustle of village life and appreciate the beauty of nature.
In addition to the fun, Airbnb will also make a one-time donation to the HopScotch Children’s Charity, an organization that offers trips and dynamic experiences to vulnerable children in Scotland.
The exclusive reservation, designed to accommodate up to three people from October 27 to 29, will be available from the 13th at 2 PM (Brasília time). Selected guests are responsible for covering travel costs to Scotland.
Upon arrival and check-in, a local concierge will ensure that guests have an exceptional experience. To request the reservation, guests must have an active profile on Airbnb, agree to Airbnb’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and have a positive history on the platform.
